Our process
If you’re wondering about the process that we go through to turn your bouquet into forever keepsakes, here are the stages:
We start with checking and confirming availability for the preservation here.
Once availability has been confirmed, we book you in for flower drop off. We will provide you with our flower care tips as well as packing guide to make sure for the beautiful blooms can get to our studio safely.
After the event day , flowers are delivered to us via express post, personal drop-off, or courier pick-up.
We confirm the receipt of flowers and assess their condition upon arrival.
Flower drying process: We sort and select the best flowers to dry based on the items you’ve chosen. It takes approximately 5-6 weeks for the flowers to dry completely. This process can be loner if flowers are bigger.
Once dried, your flowers will be inspected, sealed, and rested for another week before designing.
After the resting period, we will start arranging the flowers into different design layouts (main pieces only) and send them to you for approval. This is our favorite part!
Once a design is chosen, we will begin the casting process. On average, our large pieces consist of approximately 10 layers, which need to be done over an extended period. Each layer must dry before the next one is poured, and this process depends heavily on weather conditions (heat, humidity, etc.).
After all layers are complete, we sand the pieces to prepare them for polishing or applying a topcoat where required.
The finished piece will need sit in our studio for an additional 2 weeks to ensure the resin is fully hardened before sending it home.
The whole process from start to finish takes approximately 6 months to complete but trust us, the final results will always worth the wait!
